A Relaxed Summer Wedding at Hilden Brewery
Relaxed Summer Wedding
On a hot summer day in 2024, I had the pleasure of photographing a fun, relaxed wedding at Hilden Brewery in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Details of the Day
A summer wedding in Northern Ireland is always a bit of a gamble with
the weather, but the sun was shining for Aoife and Ryan’s big day!
The morning kicked off with laid-back pre-ceremony preparations in Newry, setting the tone for a relaxed and fun celebration. Their beautiful ceremony took place in Newry Cathedral.
Afterwards, the party moved to Hilden Brewery—an amazing venue for couples looking for a rustic, chilled-out vibe. Guests enjoyed a BBQ buffet inside a vintage-style marquee, complete with plenty of drinks on tap and lawn games and a live band that kept everyone entertained well into the evening.
It was an absolutely fantastic day from start to finish! If you’re a couple planning a similar relaxed and rustic wedding, I’d love to hear from you—let’s chat about how I can help capture your big day.

Wedding FAQs
My full-day wedding photography collections start from €2,800, with travel throughout Ireland included. I offer a range of coverage options, with the flexibility to tailor packages to suit your plans. For a full breakdown of packages and pricing, please get in touch using my contact form and I'll send over my latest brochure.
I aim to share all images within 10 weeks of the wedding. I also share a 'sneak peek' of a select few images within 48 hours of your wedding (not included with the 4-hour micro-wedding package). A sneak peek is usually between 5 and 15 images, that capture the vibe of your wedding day for you to share on social media as you wish.
Yes, I am lucky enough to be a full-time wedding photographer.
All images are shared via an online gallery where you have full access to all your wedding photographs (I don't charge for downloads). You can share the link to the gallery with as many people as you wish. Everyone with the link will be able to download the images watermark-free or order prints if they wish.
Yes, I catch up with all my couples before their wedding date, either via video conference or in-person for a coffee. I also organise a catch-up meeting a couple of weeks before your wedding for us to discuss the final details of your day. In this meeting, we cover things such as the final itinerary, family photography combinations, and final questions to ensure we are 100% aligned before your big day.
Yes - providing the bride and groom are getting ready close together (within 30 mins of each other), I’ll be able to capture both without the need of a second shooter.
No all of my packages are digital only - however you can add on an Album if you wish. For full info on pricing, you can request a copy of my brochure here.
Yes, I have full public liability and professional indemnity insurance.
Yes, I offer 35mm analogue film photography as an optional add-on to my digital coverage. Film has a beautiful, timeless quality, with natural grain, soft colours and a nostalgic feel. It's a lovely way to capture some of the moments from your day in a slightly different way. If you're interested in adding film to your package, just mention it when you get in touch.
To secure your wedding date you'll need to sign an online contract and pay a deposit of €400. The remaining balance is not due until a week before your wedding.
Currently I use two of Nikon's latest Mirrorless camera bodies, enabling me to capture beautiful high-resolution images of your wedding day. The cameras automatically back up all my images to ensure your pictures are safe. I also bring spare cameras to ensure I’m covered in the unlikely event one of my main cameras breaks (It’s better to be safe than sorry)!
